BERLIN, 15 January 2026. ORCRIST Technologies GmbH enters the new year with more than 50 employees after its first year of operation. Following a successful launch, the company aims to expand its work in software-supported data analysis for public authorities and armed forces. The owner-managed, medium-sized company based in Berlin develops technology for processing and connecting large, complex datasets.
As data volumes continue to grow in security-relevant scenarios, ORCRIST relies on its proprietary Orcrist Intelligence Platform (OIP). Built on Kubernetes, the software brings together unstructured streams from sources including sensors, text and audio in real time. Its objective is to create an automated operational picture that supports timely decision-making.
Ownership and technological independence
The founding team brings together specialists in artificial intelligence, data architecture and strategy. The company is financed entirely by its owners and operates without venture capital. Its systems are designed to give public institutions independent data-analysis capabilities without mandatory external clouds or foreign platforms. Development and data processing take place transparently within the German and European legal framework, while customers retain complete sovereignty over their data.
Operating models and human decision-making
The platform is designed for different operational environments and can run in cloud infrastructure as well as isolated on-premises or air-gapped installations. Its integrated AI functions automatically triage and prepare data. Final assessment and decision-making remain with the human operator. ORCRIST is the Vektor Group company focused on external security and is supported by a specialist advisory board.
