DRESDEN / BERLIN, 3 August 2026. The companies of Vektor Group will host the first Dresden Security Talks on Monday, 5 October 2026. The hosts are ORCRIST Technologies, CIVITAS Europe and YouTrain. The event will take place at the Pavilion of the Dresden Zwinger.

One evening, one objective: bringing requirements and capabilities together

The inaugural event focuses on civil-military cooperation and the protection of critical infrastructure. In a deliberately limited group, decision-makers from federal and state authorities, the Bundeswehr, police and civil protection will meet operators of critical infrastructure, researchers and technology providers. The evening will connect the actual requirements of security authorities and critical-infrastructure operators with the national technological and scientific expertise already available: open in its exchange and robust in its outcomes.

Format

A reception will be followed by a welcome from the hosts, an opening address from a guest of honour providing a security-policy perspective, and a moderated fireside discussion. The evening will conclude with time for individual conversations. The programme and thematic focus are currently being coordinated with the participating institutions.

Why Dresden

Dresden is home to CIVITAS Europe and a location where homeland security, research and industry operate in close proximity. The talks are conceived as a recurring format intended to establish a lasting exchange between users and providers.
